Accessibility

eCornell aims to provide online learning solutions that are accessible, usable, and welcoming to people with disabilities. Courses are designed to conform with Section 508 standards and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.0 AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium. Courses offer captioning for all videos, full-text transcripts, and screen-reader compatibility. eCornell reviews courses against accessibility guidelines quarterly to identify and mitigate potential usability issues.
